Packaging, manuals and promotional communications are all created in-house in our various design studios.

Equipped with high-spec Apple Mac computers and the latest creative software, the talented artists in our print design studio create packaging and promotional materials for all of Datel's products, including multilingual boxes and technical communications for US, European and Japanese territories.

The design team also outputs high-quality product labels, CD and DVD on-body artwork, marketing materials and advertisements using the latest market-leading art packages such as Adobe PhotoShop, Adobe Illustrator and QuarkXpress.

Our artists frequently work in partnership with our international offices, distributors and retailers to produce tailored packaging and communications to support their marketing activities.

Having an on-site printing department ensures lightning-fast turnaround.

Located in the same building as the design studio, Datel's printing department can work quickly and closely with the artists to ensure that their vision is represented perfectly in the finished result.

The print plant can generate up to 100,000 printed items every day, including full-colour packaging, DVD inlays, instruction manuals, warranty cards and marketing support materials. It can cope with everything from a business card to a huge display poster!

Acceptable file formats.

If you are working with Datel's design department, accepted file formats are:

  • Photoshop CS3 (.psd)
  • Illustrator CS3 (.ai)
  • Illustrator EPS CS3 (.eps)
  • Acrobat 8 (PDF 1.7) (.pdf)

Older versions of all the above file formats are perfectly acceptable too.

Exchanging large files.
