Every part of the disc mastering and production process is carried out in Datel's custom-built premises.

Datel's CD and DVD-based products include revolutionary CheatWare products for the latest videogames consoles, instructional and promotional DVDs and PC software discs.

Conception to production can take place in a matter of days

Once a source disc is developed, it’s passed to our mastering suite which contains multi-million dollar, state-of-the-art equipment including laser beam recorders, metallizers and unique galvanic plating technology, all in a Class 100 clean room environment.

The master stamper is passed on to the relevant replication area within hours.

Every day up to 60,000 CDs and 40,000 DVDs are manufactured across eight specially-customised lines.

Discs can be either 80mm and 120mm in diameter, and can be single- or double-sided. Each disc goes through stringent physical and electrical signal testing using the latest QA measuring systems.

Once replicated, the on-body of each disc is then screen-printed using up to five colours. Automated packing lines finish the process, and the packaged discs are despatched to Datel's product fulfilment centre.

Each product is extensively tested before it is delivered to our fulfilment centre.
